Which areas do you cover?I travel up to 15 miles from my location Leigh, Greater Manchester. If your home address/event is any further than the 15 miles radius shown on the map then please contact me with your postcode and I will provide you with a quote. Travelling costs, duration and mileage will be contributing factors as to whether I will accept or decline the booking. Please do not book an appointment online if you exceed the 15 miles.
-
Do I need to pay a deposit?Yes, paying a deposit secures your appointment date and time. Your financial commitment ensures that the specific slot is yours. I request a £10 deposit fee which is deducted from the final price you pay. The deposit is non-refundable if there is a cancellation within 48 hours prior to your assigned time slot.
-
What if I need to change my appointment time or cancel?Providing I have availability for the new time desired I can move your appointment slot. Send me a message giving me as much notice as you can and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I completely understand events sometimes get cancelled or unforeseen circumstances happen. However, if 48 hours notice isn't given for a cancellation, then the deposit will be retained and will be non-refundable.
-
How far in advance should I book?I take bookings up to a year in advance. As soon as you know the date I would recommend booking your appointment slot to avoid disappointment, especially weddings . It is also my advice to book in advance if the event falls at the weekend, as these tend to be my busiest days. I will always try to accommodate and fit you in where possible. Bridal trials I advise to book 2-3 months before the big day and to contact me as soon as your wedding date is booked so I can make sure I am available!
-
Which make-up brands do you use?I use many different make-up brands, from high end such as, Chanel, MAC and Urban Decay to drugstore brands such as ELF, Revolution and NYX. I also use professional make-up including Dermacol, Kryolan and Airbase. The products I use are based on my personal expertise and knowledge of durability, pigment and texture.
-
Should I take my make-up off before you arrive?Having my clients face freshly cleansed does save me time however, if wearing no make-up makes you feel uncomfortable I completely understand and I will therefore remove it for you.
-
What if I don’t know what make-up style I want?During the consultation I will assess your features including skin tone, eye colour, hair colour and offer advice and recommendations based on the occasion you have booked for and we will come to a final decision together.
-
I am booking a hair appointment for the same day, which should I have done first? If you are having your hair washed I would recommend having your hair appointment before make-up. The reason for this being that the shampoo and water can sometimes remove the make-up around the hairline. If the appointment is just for styling then I would recommend having your make-up appointment first. This prevents disturbing the finished hairstyle and prolongs the style from dropping or loosening.
-
I have booked an appointment including false eyelashes. Is there a choice of style?Yes, I provide a selection of different styles and lengths for you to choose from. I also offer a latex free glue alternative for anyone that is allergic to latex.
-
Do you always photograph your results?Only with your consent. Any images I take or post on my social media/website I have been given my clients full permission to do so. I take photographs to showcase my work and it allows clients to choose a look or style I have created before. If this is something you feel uncomfortable with I will not pressure you to do so . If you change your mind afterwards and would like me to remove any photographs just let me know and I will.
